What's in a name? How did it originate? What does it mean? This name means everything to Kenny Lee Barrix and the rest of the band. They were SAVED by Jesus Christ from a SYSTEM that allowed them the freedom to choose sin and chemical dependency. The Heavenly Father took charge and blessed them with special gifts to create and perform sacred music in any genre. After accepting Jesus Christ, they set out on individual missions that led them to self respect, productive lives and eventually to each other to begin this exceptional journey in the year of our Lord, 2002. They express their appreciation each day by prayer and good works.

After coming together, they chose to begin their ministry where they believed it could have the most immediate impact: ministering to the homeless and to the Texas and Louisiana prison systems (thus more 'System Saved'). Their ministry is typically delivered through musical performance along with testimony about their lives and how their relationship with the Holy Spirit provides the inspiration for the music they write. They personally funded their prison mission, including memorabilia (tee shirts, caps) that was given to all the homeless attending their free performances. They did not solicit nor have financial sponsorship, only that of the Savior. After years of repentance, hard work and creativity, they are able to compose and perform inspirational music that stirs emotions in all that listen, even those who have no faith. The System Saved core group's repertoire of music allows them to express their praise for the Lord in any arena, including concerts, church services, youth ministries and special events. System Saved is formally recording their music for distribution and are preparing to share their ministry with the rest of the world.

They aspire to perform for larger congregations and release their music to the broadcast media.

May God continue His blessing upon them in their good works until He calls them to the greatest concert of all.

Kenny Lee Barrix

Kenny Lee born in San Antonio, Texas, grew up in a small church where his grandfather preached. He gave his life to the Lord at the age of 7. Today he thanks God for the guidance of his grandfather and those in his church. Both his Mother and father were diagnosed as full blown alcoholics when he was 10 and they both committed suicide from this life threatening disease. Soon after his mother's death, he struggled with his Christianity. However, God's mercy touched Kenny and he started writing music for the Lord. The addiction of alcohol would soon Overcome him and he would return to the bar scene where drinking and playing in country/rock bands became his main focus. At the age of 22, Kenny decided to move to Las Vegas to try to further himself in music and studio recording work. Being in sin city where alcohol runs freely, his chances of overcoming alcoholism were impossible. Kenny found himself in several Detox clinics and eventually in the hospital with a bleeding stomach. Surgery was required to repair what the alcohol had eaten away. At this point in his life, Kenny was so close to death that any more drinking would surely have killed him. With a bottle in one hand and a Bible in the other, his cries to the Lord were answered and he was delivered from the spirit of Alcoholism. Immediately, Kenny came to Texas where he joined a Christian men’s addiction relief program called Life Challenge where he spent seven months traveling the states of Texas and Oklahoma spreading God's word through testimony and song. In a final effort Kenny went to Boca Raton, Florida to a place called the Watershed where he came to know what this addiction was really all about and how to fight it mentaly, spiritualy and physicaly. He also came to know the true passion of God and how much He really loves us while at the Watershed. Kenny says, God saved me and Jesus made it possible!!! If it weren't for the mercy of God, I would not be here now. Kenny says, I cant, He can, and I think Ill let him..

Michael Scudiero

I was born in Kansas City, Missouri to a single mother who made it a point to introduce me to the Lord Jesus Christ. In spite of believing at an early age, we had no church home and I spent the majority of my life in turmoil. Along the way, the Lord has delivered me from addictions, kept me out of prison, and healed me physically and emotionally. In 2004, while desperately ill, I was struggling for a reason to keep living and He answered my prayer with a resoundingly clear directive "play more music." Within five years, that turned to regional success, but that and a rebounding software career kept coming up empty. Then, He let me know my life of service had not yet even started, and He led me to System Saved. Suddenly, a lifetime of struggle makes sense...my testimony has now been prepared. I look forward to helping bring the Gospel to those seemingly without hope. Praise God!

I was born in Norwalk, Ct. to a Christian family; my father was a preacher and pastor. Being a pastors son was not an easy way of life. Every one at church would watch the steps of the pastors son in order to criticize him. But at the age of 13, I realized God had given me the gift of music particularly the ability to play the drums. Together with five other musicians we were able to accomplish a mission dear to me... To use the musical gift to reach all the people that were lost in their lives. After many years of playing with this ministry called Jubilee, several of the members continued thier ministries by becoming pastors and worship leaders. I continued my life playing drums with several bands. I love to play my drums and when I do I enjoy it!
